Below are our currently scheduled classes. If you wish to enroll in one or more classes see our Registration Page where you can enroll online or download our mailable application form. Foundation classes are limited to around 20 individuals so sign up as early as possible to gaurantee enrollment. "Closed" status indicates classes that have been filled.

"Accessing Power- Gender Related Issues in the Cannabis Movement." with Kyndra Miller

Accessing Power is a seminar that explores the role of women in the marijuana movement. The first half of the course focuses on providing an historical framework of the first three waves of American feminism.

The second half of the course is an interactive discussion about the current representations of women in the movement, gender specific legal issues, and the role of sex in activism. This three hour seminar is offered for the purpose of highlighting the fundamental role that women play in legalizing marijuana.

This is our FULL WEEKEND beginning level class. Participants will leave understnding:

~ Law: The many faces of Cannabis, from history to the ever changing current law.
~ Health: The many reasons and ways to use medicinal cannabis safely.
~ Horticulture: Effective techniques from soil preparation through to harvest and storage.

Key elements of this class focus on knowing how to start, grow, harvest, dry/cure and store their own medicine. We will address small indoor soil systems but have a focus on outdoor organic practices.

"Cannabis in the History of Human Spirituality" with Wendy Read

Not only has Cannabis co-evolved with human beings biologically, as explained in our medical classes, but she has been a part of every spiritual tradition since neanderthal times. We'll look at how religion has evolved and the role that Cannabis has played in the "great leaps forward" of human evolution and enlightenment. Well also discuss how suppression of Cannabis use brought on the Dark Ages and other backward steps in the expansion of human cultures. This class is an excellent introduction to our Cannabis Spirit Communication class, where we actually practice working with the spirit of the plant.
